"BORN IN HARD LUCK" Scarce Late 1920's Black American Humor Record On Victor III PhonographHere is a very scarce recording from the late 1920's on the Clarion label and certainly one of my favorite comedy recordings. This is Clay Chapman with a very humorous monologue, "Born In Hard Luck", with guitar accompaniment. Clay tells us of how difficult it was for him to keep a job and how easy it was to get fired.
